FIM's new campus is a consolidation of Fox's online media companies from several disparate city locations. It is comprised of 9 out of 10 floors in two buildings, totalling 420,000sf. oKB developed the project from the notion of establishing interactive neighbor-hoods that support the diversity of user populations and allow for flexibility within the online marketplace. Each floor is organized with pockets of naturally lit open workspaces around a series of infrastructural ‘landmarks’ to encourage collaboration. The technical infrastructure includes a 4,000sf Data Center with backup UPS and rooftop generator, and a centralized Network Operations Center.
