WHISTLER RETREAT

This project is located in a Strata controlled development from the late 1970s. There are a total of 26 Units located various sized groupings. This Unit is located in a group of four, directly adjacent to Whistler Ski slopes. The Unit had not been touched since built, and suffered from a compartmentalized floor plan and minimal natural daylight. The Unit was reconfigured, where the sleeping quarters were located on the Upper and Lower floors with the Middle functioning as the gathering space with an open plan and lots of natural light. A small addition occurred on the Upper and Lower floors.
