VENICE DUPLEX

Only blocks from the famous Venice Beach boardwalk, this tight infill Lot was a challenge to design an addition to the existing Duplex. Several alternate schemes were investigated to find the best solution within the constraints.

A small, but functional 'cube' residence was designed to be independent of the existing Duplex structure and raised above the Ground Floor which was designed as a commercial space.
