AVON RESIDENCE

Built in the 1940's, the existing residence is 1,050sf. Located in a Hillside District, the limitations on the possible sf increases and architectural design are extreme.

The proposed 500sf addition is meant as modern extension of the existing. An entity, though independent, relates and reflects the functional space within. Texture and color are used to emphasize, yet relate, the spatial volumes and geometries to the old and to the landscape.
